Databyrån AB is a company with one focus – ProSang. Founded in 1965, and with a great deal of input from our clients, we have been developing and improving ProSang ever since. And, after four decades in the business we are a leader in software development for transfusion medicine in Scandinavia.

All of our work is process-controlled and performed according to standardized procedures – from concept to systemisation and programming and from installation to validation. Our procedures for developing and maintaining ProSang are also certified according to ISO 9001:2000.

Databyrån takes an active part in the work performed within several institutions for international standardisation and technical development in the area of transfusion medicine, including:
– MEETAG (Middle East and Europe Technical Advisory Group)
– ICCBBA (International Council for Commonality in Blood Banking Automation)
– CEN (European Committee for Standardisation)

Databyrån AB is one of the pioneers of ISBT 128 installation and ProSang complies in full with this standard.
